News on Iona for Winter 2020/2021

As we all know P&O’s newest ship Iona will be sailing seven-night itineraries to the Norwegian Fjords for summer 2020, yesterday news of her winter 2020/2021 programme were released. So just where will Iona take you on your winter cruise…Iona will be sailing to Spain, Portugal and the Canary Islands from Southampton. Or you can choose one of the Northern Europe sailings including ports such as Bruges and Rotterdam for Amsterdam.

The winter sunshine ports will include Gran Canaria, Tenerife & Madiera.  Also included will be favourites Seville and Lisbon. I have cruised in the past the canary islands in the winter from Southampton and always had a great cruise and not too bad a crossing from Southampton to reach the warmth of the Canaries. It’s a great itinerary to choose if you are looking for some winter sunshine but don’t want to go further afield for example to the Caribbean, and you’ve got the added advantage of stepping on board in Southampton.

As a new ship to the fleet Iona is set to be very popular and I think the new itineraries will be popular. I know some of my customers who regularly sail with P&O have been waiting for the winter release details as they are very keen to get on board P&O’s newest ship but they had already visited the Fjords and wanted something different. As soon as we have full itinerary details and dates I will share them with you so do keep an eye on my  blogs.

If you are interested in Iona’s new winter 2020/21 cruises then keep an eye on my page and also on our website as very soon we will begin taking pre-registration bookings. This will allow you to choose the cruise of your choice and you will benefit from all the pre-registration benefits. I know winter 2020 and 2021 feel like a very long time off but this really is a great time to book to secure exactly what you are looking for and get some really great deals for booking so early.

As always thanks for reading, until next time Abbi x
