Last Christmas, when we were on the Sea Princess, we asked the Officer at the bottom of the gangway in Jamaica, if we could take an exotic flower arrangement on board and he said yes and also we could take on alcohol if we wanted. Hope this helps.

The answer is YES- If you pack it in your luggage beforehand it will appear in your cabin for you to enjoy in your cabin-but if you buy it at any ports of call you may find that security staff take it from you to be collected at the end of your voyage.

Prncess's alcohol policy is "Alcohol purchased at any port of call, including the port of embarkation, may not be consumed onboard. It will be collected at the gangway for safekeeping and delivered to your stateroom on the last day of your cruise, prior to your disembarkation. You may bring wine or champagne onboard to celebrate special occasions. If consumed in the dining rooms or alternative restaurants, each bottle will be subject to a $10 corkage fee.".

Just returned from Caribbean on Sea Princess. We did buy alcohol & made it thru the check point, but some did not. So its pure luck if you do, & unlucky if you dont. Cheap drink in St Martin !!!!!!! Very cheap Cigs too.

I’m finally back I apologize profusely to all my customers who thought I was only going to be off for a week and must admit so did I. I have had a small operation on my shoulder that turned out to be a little bit more painful than I thought it would be but now I’m back and raring to go, So to pick up where I left off, I did promise some more details on Independence of the Seas from when I was on board and the next bit is going to be all about that. So what did we do while we were ...
