Hi, I can help with a few of these Islands as we have done similar cruises. Antigua- Shirley Heights and Nelsons Dockyard are really worth a visit, alternativley my Hubby and Father played golf at the Jolly Harbour Resort and had a fab time. St Kitts- one of my favourite Islands, must admit to just going to the beach and relaxing, however some of our party took a cat to Nevis and had a great day out. StLucia- toured the Island,so much to see especially the drive in Volcano and the Pitons. St Maarten- shopping heaven!! Tortola- Cane Garden Bay beach, the nicest beach ever. Dominica- we went river tubing and had a really great time( all of us ages 10-65!!) St Vincent- we did a tour of the Island and then went to an all-inclusive hotel for a couple of hours R&R. What ever you do I hope you have fun.

THANK YOU FOR YOUR ADVICE Did you do your own thing or go on the organised trips, we are a party of 6 and were thinking of maybe hiring a minibus to take us out and about. Which beach did you go to on St Kitts - or is there just the one ?

Hi there - try friars bay or frigate bay, and just as cheap to have a taxi for the six of you.

What appeals to one might not to others we like going to the French part of St.Maartens and on St.Kitts we did the train journey through what used to be the sugar cane areas a bit wobbly but you have space to be upstairs on the open top area are down in the enclosed part with some singers plus some eats and drinks it was a different experience which we liked. I love rum so in Barbados we went to the Mount Gay distillery but not always the option on the ships excursions we picked up a company minibus which took us there for free.

Iona- A little island, a Big ship.

By Trevor Smith

P&O have announced the name of their new ship for what will be their biggest vessell.Iona. Having Googled Iona the name is actually quite fitting. P&O as a company can trace their roots back to Scotland, and Iona is an island off the Scottish coast. You can see the sea from anywhere you are on the island, much the same as you can whilst on board a ship. The first, of many, bits of steel was cut on the 25th April this year and she is due to launch in May 2020. You can start to boo...

MY USA Trip Seattles Fo...

By Collette Apak

I was already loving the vibe of Seattle. Our first day packed so much in, but day 2 was set to involve one of my favourite things which is food.Small American breakfastWe had an early start (which was fine as the jetlag had me awake at 5am) and breakfast in the hotel set me up for another busy day. Our first tour was within walking distance of the hotel and was an underground history tour in Pioneer Square. Sawmills played a big part for Seattle as it became a very big player in the timber i...
