Have been on all the Thomson ships and think they are good value for money, also you can dress up in the evenings if you want plus the main restrauant is waiter service. Hope this helps.

Hi, someone asked the same question - Ocean Village or Thomson ? and has some useful replies. Go through the questions dated 4th Feb. & look for the one from Howard which starts "Hi, I'm 35......". Or go back to the Answers page and type in the keyword "Howard" in the blue box.

We have been on both Thomson and Ocean Village and would go every time for Ocean Village but of course as with every answer on here it is a matter of personal choice as we all like different things.

The fact she was in such an iconic port of call helped, bathed in sunshine, you would think we were in St Tropez or suchlike. The key thing for me, understated elegance and class. It wasn’t qui...

By Camilla Edwards

Camilla Edwards's blog

If you have read my last blog you will now that my journey began in Nice beforeembarking on the lovely Azamara Quest. It was a brilliant start to my trip with probably the easiest check-in, with a glass of prosecco in hand, I`ve ever experienced. After this, it’s definitely small ship cruising for me!So what is she like? I had a conversation with one of my clients last week about Azamara and he said he thought the ships would be too formal and posh for him. How wrong could he be?The s...
