We just came back from the Easter cruise (First cruise of the season) and the checkin procedure was farsical it took us nearly 4hours from the time we landed till getting onto the boat.....there were 5 flights that all arrived into Palma airport at the same time - Island told us this is not a regular occurence but I dont know?? But in theory there is enough time to get back off and explore Palma first before sailing. They will state the All Aboard time at the exit before you leave ( I believe it takes about 45mins to walk into the Catherdral, centre of town and the same time back.

Went on same trip last year on island star loved the trip, would think you should be on the ship by 11.30am and think you would have quite a bit of time to explore Palma although it is quite a walk although the local buses and the open top bus goes from the main road near the cruise terminal One trip I would recommend the boat and blue mosque trip in Istanbul Enjoy the trip sorry im not a smoker.

More on Indy and I am sorry.

By Josephine Wright

So what did we do while we were ...

So here we have the final instalment of my Independence of the Seas tales. I promised I would tell you a little more about the new eateries onboard Indy since her spruce up and I can assure you, what she has to offer will not disappoint. You may be thinking thats easy done, but honestly I was naughty. Lunch in Playmakers at around 1 and by 2.30 we wer...
