I have flown thompsons and thomas cook with princess. Do everything you can to get on thompsons and NOT on TC. Pilgrim and Bell say it all !

We flew with Thomas cook in feb flight awful no leg room ran out of food on the way home never again.

I think they sometimes use Thompsons - we certainly flew with them to Barbados for our cruise and they were OK we were well looked after - leg room was OK and we didn't see our luggage from leaving East Midlands Airport until it arrived in our cabin - brilliant.

I forgot to mention the drinks - when you get your cruise answer book there is a section about pre-ordering drinks up to 45 days before sailing. You can order wine, champagne and spirits (max 375ml though) there is also a beer package 6 for price of 5 which is £13.
