There is a cooler, but this is nowhere near as cold as a fridge, so no good for medicines, milk or the like.

Over the years, I have noticed that hotels and cruise ships rarely bother to defrost their fridges. A massive accumulation of ice will prevent the unit from working efficiently. It is easy to solve that problem Place a towel in the fridge and turn it off for several hours. You will end up with a very wet towel and a fridge that works.

There is a fridge, or really a cooler in the cabin on Independence.

On Celebrity we found the fridges totally useless as fridges but the drawer above was a great place to dry shoes/trainers. For a fridges that didn't cool they sure gave out a lot of heat!

They are not fridges they are coolers. Things will be chilled but not icy cold.
