Carnival Cruises

I have just booked our first Carnival Cruise.

Having never cruised with them before im not too sure what to expect. They market themselves as FUN Ships and im not sure how I feel about it!

We have just booked a short 3 night cruise from Long Beach Los Angeles and I thought it was a great way to try them out.  It also worked out cheaper staying in a hotel for 3 nights. Not forgetting all our food and entertainment included.

We are booked on the Carnival Inspiration. Whilst not the biggest ship she seems to have a lot on offer including a 9 hole putting green and waterworks aqua park too.

There is also a great choice of bars and specialty dining including Guys Burger joint I have heard the trash can nachos are a must!

Chris is a Rum fan and they have the Red Frog Rum bar. The Alchemy bar a unique vintage themed cocktail bar should have some surprises in store.

We have decided to add the drinks package as its at the end of our holiday and we are doing a lot of driving throughout our road trip so wont be partaking in too many drinks before we get on board. The Sea day brunch is right up my street!

SEADAY BRUNCH

Forget what “they” say — the most important meal of the day is brunch. Slumberers can sleep in and still enjoy breakfast favorites, while early-risers get a head-start on lunch. And Seaday Brunch brings everybody’s favorite mid-morning meal to your Carnival cruise, and does it right. You’ll enjoy huevos rancheros, special french toast, loaded mac-n-cheese… and yes, more ways to cook eggs than we even thought was possible. Chow down and fuel up — you’ve got lots of exploring to do, across the ship, for the rest of the day.

Have you tried Carnival? What are your thoughts?
