What should I do for my holiday?

If you have read my blog over the years you will know that I love to travel and over the years I’ve been to most parts of the world.

So deciding what to do for holiday’s this year has been tricky. I’ve been contemplating for a few months between South America or Komodo Island Indonesia as both are top on my Bucketlist.

Also to throw into the mix I’m really keen on Exploring more of this country. I moved to the Somerset 1.5 yrs ago and still haven’t seen half the places this beautiful part of the world has to offer.

A couple of weeks ago I bit the bullet and made a decision and I’m happy to say, this year I will be exploring the UK in a little Mazda Bongo Camper I’ve just bought. The previous owners named him Billy which I love.

So this weekend Billy and I went on our first little road trip down the stunning Jurassic coast in Dorsett

First off we visited Lyme Regis, followed by some fossil hunting in Charmouth. Then on to Durdle Door and Lulworth Castle.

You’ll see from the videos, the weather was nice but windy and I was very thankful when I saw a video a friend posted on FB of it snowing on Sunday in the Midlands!

All In all my first road trip was a great success and I’m looking forward to a fun Summer of life on the open road…
