Saga brand New Ship Spirit of Discovery

So tomorrow I’m lucky to be one of the First passengers on board Saga’s brand new ship the Spirit of Discovery. Its a relatively small ship at 774 foot and holding just 999 passengers ( I’m sure they could have squeezed in the extra 1 to make a nice round number) and aimed at the British Market im sure it will become very popular with the UK market as lots like the smaller more intimate ships and with P&O selling theirs  off there is definitely  as space for this ship.

Also what will be extremely popular is the fact approx 20% of the single cabins are for single passengers so no hefty supplements involved.

The ship has a boutique Hotel feel and a very English feel in relation to the design, Decor, and food that will be served.

Saga Travel CEO Robin Shaw called the new ship “Britain’s first boutique hotel at sea”.

The ships are catered to the over 50s, with a new onboard concierge service for passengers with any questions or advice at each port on what to see or do.

As the ship is based from Dover it will also be a great experience sailing out with the White Cliffs in the difference.

In my next blog i will let you know all about the ship and let you see the Photos of the Decor and around the ship.
