Outstanding Oasis of the Seas

There is always the exciting anticipation when boarding a cruise ship, especially if it is one have have not been on before. This was certainly the case when we arrived at Barcelona Cruise Terminal for our family holiday. The ship of choice for is this year was Royal Carribeans ‘Oasis Of The Seas’.
Upon boarding, you find yourself on the Royal Promenade, welcomed with a glass of bubbly. There is really quite a lot to take in from the shops, bars, cafes and stunning architectural features.
From here our first stop is always the pool deck to check out the facilities, so it was straight up to deck 15. With three pools, the H2O zone and plenty of jacuzzis not to mention the solarium (adults only) there are certainly plenty of options.
Next was the Windjammer for a bite to eat. This could get busy at times but there was also a buffet in the solarium should you choose.
Somewhere we were keen to explore was Central Park and it didn’t disappoint.
This was a lovely relaxing area day or night.
Our cabin was an interior with a Central Park view. It was particularly spacious offering plenty of room for three of us. There was a sofa bed which was folded away daily.
There are plenty of activities to keep you busy be it rock climbing, zip-lining or Flow Rider to name a few.
At the stern of the ship you will find the Boardwalk. The carousel hee was a favorite with our little one!
Finally entertainment. The Broadway production of CATS was spectacular with audience interaction if you are lucky enough to be sat in the first row! Another fantastic evening was spent watching the show at the Aqua Theatre, this was quite simply breathtaking.

If you are looking for an exciting fun-packed trip then Oasis of the Sea really does tick all the boxes and with the Exciting news that Oasis and Allure of the seas will both be getting an upgrade very soon they will only improve with the additions of slides galore and lots of other things to keep the whole family happy.
