New Year – New Bucket List

A lovely. smart , shiny brochure popped through my door at the weekend. Everyone has a Bucket List, even if its not a holiday or cruise, but our new Bucket List Collection will inspire many to take the holiday of their dreams.

The collection covers just about every corner of the world, South America, China, Japan, Vietnam, America , South Africa and even Costa Rica to name just a few. However one really stands out for me and that is Antarctica, Easter Island and Patagonian Odyssey.

Antarctica is just about the most remote part of our planet with some spectacular scenery. I have just been speaking to a client of mine who has recently returned from and Azamara cruise to this region and she said that the glaciers in this area were the definite highlight of the trip. The colours were so amazing and really bright blue. The best cruise she has ever done was her comment.

Mysterious Easter Island, famous for its huge stone statues, is an island 2300 miles off the coast  of Chile. The population of several thousand carved full-body figures, called Moai.  There are nearly a thousand statues, many have become  buried up to their heads over time. The largest statue is over 70 feet tall. The island of Ahu Akhivi has 7 of the statues and is visited on the tour.

Patagonia stretches across both Argentina and Chile. Travel south to explore the steppes, grasslands and desert of the Argentinian side whilst the Chilean side is made  up of rainforest and glacial fjords. A visit to t Torres de Paine National Park is also included where you will be able to see the mountains of the Andes.
