www.CRUISE.co.uk’s own specialist cruise consultant and homeworker, Holly Crabtree, has just been crowned the UK and Ireland’s ‘Cruise Agent Of The Year’ at the annual awards of industry bible the Travel Trade Gazette!
Almost 100 travel agents entered the agent categories for this year’s TTG Travel Awards with written submissions that were then judged by a panel of industry leaders.
TTG Editor, Pippa Jacks, said: ‘Each year we’re overwhelmed by the strength of entries from brilliant agents who go the extra mile for their customers, offering great value and sound advice day in and day out.’
Holly was crowned ‘Homeworker of the Year’ at the same awards in 2014 and has worked in the travel industry for 28 years. This year she impressed judges with her vast expertise, her innovative approach to using social media and her highly personalized approach to communicating with her customers.
Holly has told us at www.CRUISE.co.uk: ‘I am just totally overwhelmed yet quite humbled to have won an award like this. To receive an award like this in a job that I absolutely love means so much! The TTG Travel Awards took place at the Lyceum Theatre in London’s West End on September 19th, co-hosted by John Bishop.
The glittering awards ceremony was attended by 750 travel industry figures and also celebrated the industry’s top suppliers, whilst Celebrity Cruises claimed two trophies as well as being crowned overall ‘Travel Company Of The Year’ for 2016.
