Woman Saved After 10 Hours Overboard

A shock came to cruisers when it was announced that a British woman fell overboard on Saturday off the Croatian coast while travelling on Norwegian Star.

She fell from the seventh deck and was heroically rescued 10 hours later.

It is believed that she was not pushed or forced overboard by another passenger, but it is still not clear as to how exactly she fell overboard.

Passengers were shocked when the news spread and wondered how something like this could have happened.

The NCL crew were fantastic in their approach to rescuing the woman and alerted other nearby ships to help search.

The police were also informed and assisted  in this rescue mission.

The British woman is said to have sang and used her yoga practices to survive in the waters before rescued after 10 hours in the water.

Despite the delay on the cruise, passengers were pleased when the woman was rescued, as the safety of guests is all that matters.

Were you shocked to hear this announcement? Have you ever been on a ship where someone has fallen overboard? What would you have done to help you survive in the water for 10 hours?
