On a cruise, there are set things that we cruisers like to experience whilst onboard our favourite ships. These include staying in the perfect cabins, catching a Broadway show and most importantly, making sure we eat and drink in the most fabulous restaurants and bars throughout our holiday. Pre-booking a cruise it’s always good to do your research and make a plan (even if it’s just in your head) of everywhere you’ll eat and drink whilst onboard your ship. 

So if you’re planning on taking a trip on Virgin Voyages, we’re here to break down all of their amazing eateries and places to grab your favourite tipple on board so you can get excited and map out exactly where you’ll be eating and drinking on your cruise holiday with them. With more than 20 unique dining venues curated by Michelin-starred chefs and multiple bars to choose from, you’ll be in safe hands with Virgin Voyages when it comes to what you eat and drink…


The Wake

If steak and seafood is your kind of thing, then you must head to The Wake. The perfect mix of sophistication, nostalgia and cool – entering The Wake is an event in itself. Once you’ve entered the restaurant via the grand staircase, expect to be transported back to the old steakhouse with less cigar smoke but all the classics you’d expect to see from the sea and grill as well as plenty of sides to go along with it all. 

Pink Agave

We all know how great Mexican street food is and Virgin Voyages have taken it to a whole new level. With the interiors designed by Tom Dixon and the master of ceremonies guiding you through a highly curated dining and drinking experience, this is definitely a place to add to your list. 

Razzle Dazzle Restaurant

Sometimes you fancy something healthy and sometimes you want something, well not so healthy. And there are even times when you just don’t know what you want. Razzle Dazzle restaurant offers plant-based vegetarian dishes all the way through to meat, sweets and gluttonous treats. So there really will be something for everyone here. 

The Test Kitchen

This Laboratory-like eatery is part cooking school and part eatery. With classes and evolving tasting menus, you’ll not only walk away from The Test Kitchen with a stomach full of delicious food but new skills under your belt too!


Another place you can really get stuck in when it comes to your food is Gunbae. This Korean BBQ restaurant is great if you’re into hands-on meat-grilling and drinking soju. 

Scoop Shop

This whimsical ice cream shop offers homemade, complimentary scoops. That includes six creative artisanal flavours guaranteed to satisfy every sweet tooth craving. 

The Dock

The Dock offers a Mediterranean inspired menu with the ultimate lounging experience. Enjoy a glass of rosé and a selection of mezze bites as you sail from port to port. 

Extra Virgin

Deeply rooted in Italian culinary traditions, their trattoria serves regionally-inspired food punctuated by their fresh, handmade pasta. Start with shared antipasti and finish with a traditional Italian aperitif to make your night complete. 

The Pizza Place

No pre-cooked pizza’s here! Choose from the classic menu of pizza or feel free to get creative and design your very own bespoke pizza just to your taste! This casual spot is a perfect place for lunch with friends or a post-party snack after dancing the night away.

The Social Club Diner

Whilst enjoying a game of air hockey, shuffleboard and foosball enjoy signature treats including freak milkshakes that you can even spike with a little booze for an adult-friendly upgrade. 

Sun Club Cafe

At the Sun Club Cafe enjoy one of the most iconic dishes of the Hawaiian islands with marinated tuna, chicken and salmon over greens and rice bowls. These are all fresh, tasty and healthy as well as high in protein and full of healthy fats. So if you’re looking for something nutritious, then this is the place for you to head. 

The Galley

Forget your traditional buffet, the Galley is modelled on popular food halls so that guests can taste a variety of different food. It’s the perfect place for a quick bite, meal or pick-me-up throughout the day. With more than eight shops and food-truck style carts, each spot has a unique concept with signature dishes that change to suit the type of day. Enjoy a dedicated bakery and pastry shop, a panini shop, a burger grill, a taco shack, a sushi bar with bento boxes, a noodle bar, a soup and salad stand, and a 24-hour American diner. 


Grounds Club

After cutting some serious moves on the dance floor all night, you’ll definitely need to head to the Grounds Club. Here you’ll be able to grab yourself a much needed coffee from Virgin Voyages’ direct-trade partners to get yourself ready for all the fun you’ll have on board that day.

Draught Haus

Beer lovers will be sure to add Draught Haus to their list whilst onboard Virgin Voyages. This venue features a variety of beers on tap, a wide range of artisanal bottles, boilermakers and cocktails for you to enjoy. And if you’re looking for something a little harder, make sure you grab yourself one of their “All Day Breakfast” shots. 

Sip Lounge

It’s always nice to treat yourself whilst on holiday and there’s nothing more special than sipping champagne in a fancy bar. Virgin Voyages curated champagne lounge, SIP, was designed to satisfy all your champagne and caviar needs. From an afternoon tea menu to an effervescent nightcap, this is the place to satisfy your craving for a delicious cocktail or a glass of bubbles. 

On the Rocks

On The Rocks is Virgin Voyages mixology bar onboard which focuses on aged spirits poured over ice and is the perfect place for a stiff drink. Here you can really mix it up and literally ask the bartender for whatever drink you fancy (even if it’s not on the menu). 

The Loose Cannon

Inspired by seaside bars in Brighton, The Loose Cannon is a nautical-themed bar that boasts live music as well as a lively atmosphere for guests. So grab yourself a pint and be ready to ignite a hearty chant at a moment’s notice. 

The Dock House Bar

Rosé wine has become even more popular than it ever was in recent years. At The Dock House, fans of the wine can choose from a selection of premium rosé as well as spritzers and cocktails.

The Aquatic Club Bar

One of the things that really makes a holiday great on a hot day is enjoying a cold drink by the pool. The Aquatic Club Bar is full-bar right by the pool where you can grab anything that takes your fancy.

Gym and Tonic 

With wellness being a huge part of Virgin Voyages ships, it makes perfect sense that they have created a space for guests to nourish themselves after a workout onboard. Gym & Tonic has a huge choice of drinks including made-to-order shakes, fresh or cold pressed juices and Reset Cocktails all to revive yourself ready to enjoy the rest of our holiday. 

Sun Club Bar

Above the pool and on the sun deck, you can grab a frozen drink or cocktail and take a seat for optimal sun-soaking or people watching during one of Virgin Voyages’ iconic nighttime pool parties where you can really let your hair down. 

The Red Bar

Located in the Razzle Dazzle restaurant, The Red Bar is a full bar and the perfect place to try some of Virgin Voyages’ signature cocktails including the sparkling YAAASSS Queen cocktail (accented with drinkable glitters) or the Filthy Mary – their take on a bloody mary.
