Unique Music-Themed Suites Are On The Cards For Virgin’s Scarlet Lady

Unique Music-Themed Suites Are On The Cards For Virgin’s Scarlet Lady

Virgin Voyages’ debut ship, Scarlet Lady, will now feature musically-themed suites.

The suites will be the highest grade cabin available at 2,147 square foot, found on top of the ship’s bridge.

They will have a music room with guitars and a large terrace that boasts an outdoor shower, hot tub, hammocks and a runway dining table.

Sir Richard Branson, founder of the Virgin Group, commented: “Virgin has always avoided stuffy formalities and brought a lot of excitement and a bit of rebelliousness to our customer experiences.

With these glamorous suites, Virgin Voyages is bringing rock and roll to the high seas and spoiling our sailors like the rock stars they are.”

Passengers will also be able to choose from seventy-eight RockStar Suites, inspired by mega yachts and rock and roll style icons like Grace Jones.

Another extra for those staying in these suites includes access to Richard’s Rooftop, a private members’ club which is perfect for grabbing a drink in the sun and general relaxing.

Lighting inside the cabins will automatically adjust to match the time of day but there will also be the option to change the lighting on in-room tablets.

According to the line, the suites will have real leather finishes, marble-clad bathrooms, Terrazzo flooring, vinyl turntable and “the best view that money can buy.”

Many of the ship’s suites feature a marble ‘Peek-a-Boo shower’ with a glass window carved in the centre so guests can see out into the ocean.

Suites will have a specially-designed champagne table which will sit alongside sun loungers and hammocks.

Fifteen of the 78 RockStar suites will be Mega RockStar Suites located on Deck 15; the latter includes a personalised bar filled with customers’ favourite drinks.

In addition, there will be:

-2 Fab Suites

-2 Posh Suites

-9 Gorgeous Suites

-18 Brilliant Suites,

-14 Cheeky Corner suites

-24 Seriously Suites

-7 Sweet Aft Suites

Virgin Voyages’ chief executive, Tom McAlpin, said: “We have combined brilliant design and Virgin Voyages’ epic sailor experience vision to create a completely new version of luxury – Rebellious Luxe, which is at the intersection of luxury and a rebellious attitude that makes everything we do different, indulgent and meaningfully relevant to our sailors.

Whether they want to sleep all day, praise the sun with yoga at dusk or party all night, our RockStar Suite sailors can live out their fantasies aboard the Scarlet Lady.”

Last October, Virgin fans found out that the 2,750-guest ship would be offering a tattoo studio onboard to create a lifelong memory.

The venue, Squid Ink, will offer the opportunity to have a tattoo from vegan ink or even body piercings.

When Scarlet Lady launches early 2020, she will be calling at Cuba’s Havana as her first destination however will be based in Miami.
