U By Uniworld Collaborates With Dating App For Singles Cruise To Romantic Spot

U by Uniworld has just teamed up with a dating app to create its first singles cruise.

The first cruise line created with millennial-focused programming is set to launch an eight-night August sailing on the Seine River.

This is in partnership with “The League,” a dating app that was created, its founder and CEO says, for ambitious people striving to be half of a power couple.

It will not be the first time that U by Uniworld, originally aimed at passengers 21-45 but later opened itself up to adults of all ages, has put itself out there for love connections.

Before the brand’s official launch this year, the cast of season 22 of the ABC TV series “The Bachelor” filmed an episode onboard The B, the same ship that will be used for the singles cruise.

A U by Uniworld spokesperson has commented that the partnership with The League is “a dating win-win.”

More than 45% of The League members report meeting someone through the app already so adding a new twist can only up those numbers.

“New environments contribute to ‘positive stress’ which raises adrenaline levels– and higher levels of adrenaline means that you are more likely to find people attractive,” the company said in response to email questions.

“A U by Uniworld cruise is a unique and fun way to travel, bringing adventurous and curious people together to experience new destinations.

The intimate environment of our ships and our small group excursions provide the perfect opportunity to meet new people.”

U by Uniworld has strived to do things differently since its launch a few months ago; its two 120-passenger ships, The A and The B, have sleek black exteriors, modern interior designs and touches aimed at the younger generation.

This includes a below-deck Polaroid selfie-station and excursion options that include late-night trips to bars and clubs, Paris rooftop tours, aswell as paragliding.

The line have stated that partnering with The League, which costs about $175 for an annual membership, was an easy choice.

The dating app, as described by founder and CEO Amanda Bradford, was designed to give busy people an efficient way to find partners who meet their education level and professional requirements.

In a similar vein, U is seeking to try something different, the line said.

“U is the very first river cruise brand dedicated to offering immersive and adventurous experiences for a new generation of adult travellers. The League attracts a like-minded audience, so it’s a great partnership.”

The eight-day cruise embarks on August 11th 2018 and costs $2,319 per person, which includes most meals and some excursions.

Only members of the app may come aboard and those who want to join especially for this trip are asked to fill out an application and send it to The League with the message #TAKEMETOFRANCE.
