TV Favourite Makes A Welcome Return To Our Screens

ITV documentary The Cruise is back! “The Cruise: Sailing the Caribbean” will be airing at 8.30pm on Thursday, April 5th.

The documentary will be following the crew and guests as they travel the Caribbean onboard Royal Princess. There will be several new additions to the crew in this series, as well as familiar faces Bob Oliver & Timothy Gallant from the shore excursions desk.

This will be the fifth series to air and is the latest leg of an extended voyage for the programme, which began in the Mediterranean in January and more recently, Alaska.

Tony Roberts, Princess Cruises’ vice president UK and Europe, spoke on how he is looking forward to showing viewers the sunny shores of the Caribbean. “This series will give everyone the opportunity to see some of the amazing Caribbean destinations we visit. Sailing between the islands, including Antigua, Grenada and Princess Cruises’ very own private resort, Princess Cays in the Bahamas, is a fantastic way to enjoy the clear blue waters and white sandy beaches.”

He also spoke of the launch of the ‘Rhythm of the Caribbean’ programme, also stating: “Princess Cruises really is the number one line to sail with for anyone who wants a taste of tropical paradise.” Could we see features on their new programme in this series?

Wild Pictures will be once again be making this series, they have a reputation for creating films with high production values that give viewers privileged access to some of our best loved institutions and organisations. Also, making his return will be Hugh Bonneville, who will once again be narrating the series.
