The Best Cruise Ships For Partying

The Best Cruise Ships For Partying

There are two types of holidaymakers – those who like to be in bed for 9 pm and those happy to party all night till 9 am. If your idea of a good night out ends with breakfast the next morning, you might be thinking that a cruise couldn’t possibly be for you – after all, ships don’t have nightclubs, do they? Well, actually, some do!

So if you’re a night owl who doesn’t travel anywhere without your personal supply of glow sticks, here are five of the best ships for party people:

Harmony of the Seas – Royal Caribbean

With it being the largest ship in the world, not only do you get a wide variety of activities to choose from but, 13 bars to enjoy onboard each offering you a different type of party atmosphere.

To start the night off you should head to the ‘English Pub’ onboard. It’s just like your traditional English pub in terms of decor plus they have an extensive list of beers, some UK-themed cocktails as well as live music.

After the pub, you may just be ready to get your dancing shoes on and ‘Boleros’ is the place to do that. This Latin themed club has a live six-piece band and singer as well as serving some delicious Cuban mojitos and Brazilian caipirinhas.

Norwegian Epic – NCL

We all love a good laugh on a night out and what a perfect way to start your night off than in Norwegian Epic’s onboard comedy club, ‘Headliners Comedy Club’ hosting a variety of acts from all over the world.

If you’re looking for something a little more unique, then why not head to the ships very own ice bar. You heard us right, ‘Sky Vodka Ice Bar’ is a frozen like cave kept at 17 degrees Fahrenheit where your glasses are made of ice and the drinks are cool.

Carnival Fantasy – Carnival Cruise Line

Carnival Cruise Line is well known for its nightlife and that really shows with the amount of choice you have when it comes to where you party all night long.

Onboard Carnival Fantasy is their mixologist competitions for you to take part in. So if you’re the bartender at home then this might be your time to shine. Not only do you get to create your signature cocktail and compete against other guests, but if you win, your cocktail will be available for people to purchase onboard throughout your trip. Best get practising!

Scarlet Lady – Virgin Voyages

The Scarlet Lady is not just a brand new ship but a brand new experience compared to what you expect from your typical cruising holiday.

This adults-only ship has gotten rid of your traditional broadway shows and replaced it with a ‘festival-like’ line up. In their onboard club ‘The Manor’ (named after Sir Richard Branson’s first recording studio) you will instantly feel that 70’s vibe they’re aiming for and enjoy a mix of immersive performances.

Make sure not to miss the ultimate photo opportunity onboard as you enter the club where there is a walkway full of mirrors and crystals.

Royal Princess – Princess Cruises

We’ve all been there…3 cocktails in and we think that it’s a good idea to hit the karaoke bar and sing our hearts out to some of our favourite songs.

Well, onboard Princess Cruises’ Royal Princess you can actually do that. In their onboard ‘Voice of the Ocean’ competition where you perform a blind audition in front of the iconic “I Want You” chairs, where three charismatic coaches will turn or not turn for you and then the winner is then decided by the audience.

If a singalong with your friends has got you in the mood to party on further, then head over to Club 6. Here you’ll be able to grab yourself another cocktail and dance to your heart’s content to the clubs resident DJ.

So if you’re looking for a cruise where you can really party all night long, then these cruise ships might just be for you.
