The Best Cruise Lines For All-Inclusive Cruising

Would you love to step onboard your cruise ship and not have to worry about paying for this, that and the other? Is the idea of totally relaxing on your holiday, content in the knowledge that you’ll not have a big bill to settle at the end, music to your ears? Then all-inclusive cruising is for you.

Some people don’t realise that when they book a cruise, there are extra charges for certain drinks and speciality dining, shore excursions, Wi-Fi, gratuities and sometimes flights and transfers. So, what appeared to be a great bargain can sometimes turn into quite a costly holiday.

All-inclusive cruise holidays take away the stress of extra charges. However, there are still differences between cruise lines in what’s included and what’s not, so it’s vital to check the details carefully. To help get you started, here’s our handy guide to the best cruise lines offering all-inclusive cruising.

Regent Seven Seas Cruises

Regent Seven Seas Cruises build their brand around delivering an all-inclusive travel experience with ‘every luxury included’. All drinks are part of the package, which covers specialist cocktails, wines and hot beverages, as well as soft drinks, beer and bottled water in your minibar. Their range of fine-dining options and in-suite menu choices also do not incur any additional charge, nor do pre-paid gratuities.

Your travel is taken care of too, with return flights, ground transfers and many shore excursions complimentary, as per their terms and conditions. One-night hotel packages, Wi-Fi and valet laundry service are also added to their ‘every luxury included’ promise, meaning there will be very little need to open your wallet while sailing with this cruise line.

Silversea Cruises

Silversea Cruises was the world’s first all-inclusive luxury cruise line, launching its offering in 1994. Since then, it has refined and elevated its experiences and now promises door-to-door, all-inclusive cruising. Their packages include private transfer services, international and in-country flights with business class upgrades in selected destinations, and at least one shore excursion per port (from Summer 2022).

Pre- and post-cruise hotel nights are also added to the fare price, where required. You can enjoy surcharge-free gourmet dining, in-suite butler service and champagne, wine, beer, premium spirits and soft drinks, with gratuities also included.

For the adventurous, Silversea Cruises offer all-inclusive expedition cruise packages, taking you to some of the most remote and fascinating corners of the world while still providing all of their cruise comforts.

Seabourn

Although most cruise lines promise luxury, Seabourn takes this approach up a level. Their boutique-style ships are smaller and more intimate, but equally, they ensure one of the industry’s highest space-per-guest ratios, creating a private club ambience.

Every ornately decorated suite offers ocean-front views, and inside you’ll find luxury spa products in their spacious bathroom and interactive entertainment with hundreds of movie and music choices. All premium spirits and wines are included in the fare, as well as welcome champagne and a personalised in-suite bar.

Visits to their range of exquisite dining venues, developed in partnership with Chef Thomas Kelle, do not come with any extra charge and gratuities are not expected. While Wi-Fi and entertainment, such as talks by experts of interest and live musical performances, are included, you do need to pay extra for shore excursions and spa facilities.
