The newest adventure to be offered by Royal Caribbean‘s Anthem of the Seas will be their very own augmented reality adventure, Expedition Two70. Already implemented onboard Spectrum of the Seas, the game has proven a great success.
You can test your adventuring skills as you go on the search for ancient mystical masks and play four immersive augmented reality games. After each mask is found it will trigger a new mini-game.
Expedition Two70 will be completely free to play for all passengers as it will be on the Royal Caribbean onboard app. Interactive games such as this are slowly making there way around the cruising industry and are a unique way to entertain kids while the parents relax in the same lounge.
The aesthetics and gameplay of the Expedition Two70 are almost reminiscent of a mix of ‘Temple Run’ and ‘PokemonGO’. The game is based in an overgrown jungle environment with Aztec art inspiration adding to the almost Indiana Jones-like nature of the game.
