Princess Cruises has just revealed that guests can now look forward to an escape room experience onboard the newest ships.
Sky Princess and Enchanted Princess will combine digital and physical challenges with the ‘Phantom Bridge’ that lets players captain and steer a simulated ship through a range of historical and future time periods.
The Phantom Bridge will feature in a new ‘experience centre’ on deck 16.
Lighting, sound and digital features will create a realistic interactive experience as players urgently try to find the room’s exit key.
To progress through the story, guests must work as a team to uncover clues and solve puzzles with the ‘ship’ transforming and responding to their actions.
The Phantom Bridge is tailored to players of all ages and physical abilities so any group can play together.
Players can expect a number of levels, time periods and brainteasers with more than 700 possible outcomes, meaning guests can even return to experience multiple different endings.
Games last around 25 minutes and accommodate up to six people; it will be available from December onboard Sky Princess and from June 2020 when Enchanted Princess launches in Southampton.
Princess is offering a 14-day Adriatic & Aegean Medley cruise on Enchanted Princess, sailing from Rome to Barcelona.
Prices will start from £2,099 with up to $375 onboard spending money available per person.
