Phillip Schofield is best known for hosting ITV’s This Morning and The Cube and he has been a brand ambassador for Princess Cruises since 2017.
When he signed the initial agreement, Phillip became the UK’s first brand ambassador for Princess Cruises.
The news of the deal was announced by Tony Roberts – the cruise line’s UK and Europe vice president, on board Crown Princess on Wednesday.
Princess Cruises are confident that Phillip speaks from the heart when talking about the cruise line, because of his personal experiences. In Tony Roberts’ own words:
“This is not someone that we are paying to advertise our brand, this is someone that has actually come on board and has really experienced the Princess product.”
Tony is glad to have the ITV presenter for a longer period of time. “As the product develops,” he continues, “ is part of that journey.”
During his time as an ambassador, the cruise line has hosted Philllip Schofield on several voyages to destinations such as the Mediterranean and the Baltics.
Princess Cruises have a clear idea of what this partnership will entail. They envision Phillip making “further discoveries on and off Princess ships”. Furthermore he will be testing out the line’s new wearable personalisation technology, Ocean Medallion.
His experiences onboard the Princess ships are available to view on video on YouTube as well as on princess.com.
In Phillip’s own words: “It’s the little things that make cruising with Princess so special: I’ll continue to highlight these to help show their commitment to embracing discovery and relaxation.”
