Princess Cruises Announce A ‘Grown Up Gap Year’ Cruise

Calling all travellers! Leave your backpacks at home (or at least in your cabin) as Princess are offering a 48 night trip of a life time as they travel from Southampton to Sydney on the Emerald Princess in 2016.

The four continents Grand Adventure cruise is Princesses’ longest cruise from Britain and marks the first of many more UK departures.

After stopping at several destinations in Italy the ship will sail through the Suez Canal to Egypt, Jordan and Dubai. It will then sail to India, Singapore and Thailand before it calls in at Australia visiting Freemantle, Margaret River, Melbourne and Sydney.

Fares starting will start from £5,739 per person.

Paul Ludlow, Princess Cruises’s managing director UK and Europe said: “We really hope that holidaymakers are as excited about our new programme as we are. As well as our usual wide range of options and destinations, the 48-night cruise from Southampton to Sydney is being eagerly anticipated as it is the perfect ‘grown up gap year trip’ for anyone wanting to travel further afield, but without a hostel or backpack in sight.”
