P&O Cruises 2022 – Where Will Your Favourite Ships Be Heading?

For a moment, let’s forget about 2020 and look forward, all the way to 2022. Picture yourself on your favourite ship, sipping a cocktail and visiting some of the most beautiful places in the world.

Well, P&O Cruises are here with their new 2022 sailings for you to make that vision a reality with 2 new maiden ports, 22 overnight calls and some amazing destinations to choose from.

So to get you excited about the future, we’d thought it best to pull together all the key information on where all the ships will heading ahead of these brand new sailings going on sale.

Iona

P&O Cruises newest ship, Iona, will continue to sail from Southampton to the Norwegian Fjords where you can witness the breathtaking scenery onboard. You’ll be able to stop at some of the famous Norwegian Fjords ports including Geiranger, a small idyllic village where you can visit the famous S-shaped Geirangerfjord, Olden, the southern end of one branch of the beautiful Nordfjord and at the entrance to the gorgeous Oldedalen Valley and Ålesund, a pretty town with unique architecture to admire.

Britannia

A firm favourite with cruisers is P&O Cruises’ Britannia. And in 2022 she’ll be hosting a number of Western Mediterranean cruises plus three Baltic cruises for you to enjoy. If you pick one of her Mediterranean cruises you’ll be lucky enough to visit La Spezia, just an hours ride away from Florence and Pisa. And Barcelona, where you can see Antonio Gaudi’s iconic Sagrada Familia. If the Baltics are more your style, then you’ll be happy to learn that Britannia’s Baltic itineraries include two-day calls to St Petersburg!

Azura

Family-friendly ship, Azura will be operating her second season of Europe Fly cruises visiting Western, Central and Eastern parts of the Mediterranean from Malta every Thursday. Ports will include the beautiful Italian city of Trieste, where you can hop over to Venice for a shore excursion and Kusadasi, where you can visit the ancient city of Ephesus and it’s historic architecture.

Ventura

In 2022 Ventura will be offering a right mixed bag of itineraries for you to choose from. She’ll be offering cruises to the  Canary Islands and Iberia, Atlantic Island cruises, Southern cruise breaks as well as mini cruises to Amsterdam. Enjoy ports such as Lisbon, where you will witness the best views of the port as you sail in on Ventura and Bilbao, boasting a lively old town dating from the 14th century.

Arcadia and Aurora

These two mid-sized ships are heading further afield in 2022 visiting destinations including Norway, Russia, New York and the Greek Islands. If you’re looking for something particularly special, Arcadia will be embarking on a 30-night cruise to the USA & Canada where she’ll call at both New York and Boston. Another one to watch out for is the Iceland & North Cape sailing where you’ll have the opportunity to really explore Reykjavik with an overnight call included plus, scenic cruising through the stunning North Cape.

So, there’s a little taster as to what you can expect from P&O Cruises in 2022. If you’re interested in discovering more and booking your place on one of these cruises
