The launch of Virgin Voyages first cruise ship, Scarlet Lady, is just one year away and its tropical itineraries and cabin designs have just been announced. The cruise line’s adult-only vessel will set sail from Miami to the Caribbean with 2,770 passengers that have been dubbed sailors by Virgin. 1,160 crew members will also be onboard four and five-night “Havana After Dark” itineraries which will also feature an overnight stay in Havana, Cuba. Virgin Voyages Has Another Surprise Up Its Sleeve (And This Time It Has Cost €700 Million)

Just one week after the announcement of a tattoo studio onboard Virgin Voyages’ first cruise ship Scarlet Lady, the line have revealed a fourth ship. Italian ship yard Fincantieri confirmed that a contract had been signed for the new vessel, due to be delivered at the end of 2023 at a cost of €700 million. Virgin Voyages just announced that the line’s first ever ship, Scarlet Lady, will have a tattoo studio aboard. The venue will go under the name Squid Ink, offering also body piercing and tattoos created with original vegan ink. Virgin Voyages have just revealed the first details of the public spaces to be featured onboard the brand’s ships. Some of the world’s leading interior design firms, who have never designed for the cruise industry before, have been employed to work on its ‘modern romance of sailing’ concept. Virgin Voyages Targets The Millennials & Confirms First Ship As Adults-Only

Virgin Voyages has just announced its first ever cruise ship, due to arrive in 2020, will join the few vessels in the world as strictly adults-only. President and CEO Tom McAlpin, alongside Richard Branson himself, revealed the news at the ship’s keel-laying ceremony in Italy’s Fincantieri shipyard, complete with a DJ, cocktails and an appearance by Boy George.
