P&O Sells Its Ship That ‘Captured The Heart Of Thousands’ To Azamara

It has just been revealed that Azamara Club Cruises is to buy P&O Cruises’ ship Adonia, taking its fleet to three ships. The 30,000-tonne ship will join Royal Caribbean Cruises’ upmarket Azamara fleet in March 2018 and will be renamed Azamara Pursuit, joining two similar-sized ships– Azamara Journey and Azamara Quest. The 704-passenger ship will undergo refurbishment before Azamara takes delivery and information about deployment and itineraries will be released in October. P&O Puts Power In Public’s Hands With Competition To Name Biggest Ship Yet

P&O Cruises has just unveiled a competition for the public to name its newest ship due to launch in 2020. The competition opened today and the cruise line is inviting agents, guests and the general public to submit suggestions. The ship will be the largest built by the British cruise company and at 180,000 tonnes, it will accommodate 5,200 guests. The winning name will be announced next year and the winner themselves will have their chosen name emblazoned on the side of the ship, aswell as being given two VIP places at the ship’s naming ceremony in spring 2020....

P&O Passengers Review New Gratuity Prices

P&O have just announced that they are raising the price of their gratuity charge. The daily service charge paid per guest (known as the Service Reward Programme to P&O) is changing from £5 a day to £6 a day. All passengers aged 12 and above will have to pay this charge, per person per day, unless they opt to remove their gratuities.
