Back in July last year, P&O revealed there would be a competition in which the public, and devoted fans of the line, could vote for the name of the next ship in their fleet. P&O Award Passenger Discount For Those Affected By Cancelled Sailing

P&O Cruises has been forced to cancel a 50-night cruise onboard Oriana just 45 days before it was due to depart. This comes down to “essential maintenance” and has stopped the 1,880-passenger ship that was due to sail from Southampton on January 6th 2018 to the Caribbean, Mexico and US, returning on February 25th. New Record As Previous P&O Vessel Becomes First Ever Azamara Ship To Be Christened

Azamara Club Cruises has revealed it will christen its new vessel Azamara Pursuit, previously P&O’s Adonia, in Southampton. It will be the first time the line has christened a ship as both Azamara Journey and Azamara Quest were deployed straight after they were acquired and refit; neither ship was appointed a Godmother. P&O Unveil New Watertight Rules Changing Alcohol Limitations & Banning Just One Dress Code

P&O has imposed a new code of conduct for passengers that prohibits offensive clothing and places restrictions on the amount of alcohol brought onboard. The newly announced code states that each passenger aged 18 or older is allowed to bring only one bottle of wine, Champagne, beer, spirits or liqueur up to 1 litre during initial embarkation. Any additional alcohol, including any purchased ashore or in the onboard duty-free shops, will be confiscated and held until the last night of each sailing.
