Oceania Cruises have just announced a ground-breaking wellness and cruise-industry first in the form of exclusive tours focused on wellness and healthy living.
With luxurious onboard spa, fitness and culinary amenities, The Wellness Tours inspired by Canyon Ranch will allow Oceania to take the title of the first cruise line to offer fully-integrated wellness retreats at sea.
Oceania‘s President and CEO, Bob Binder, stated: ‘Thoughtfully inspired by the philosophies at the heart of Canyon Ranch, this exclusive tour series extends the wellness experience available onboard our ships to immersive well-being explorations ashore in serene, hand-picked Mediterranean locales.
‘Even for guests that have already been to these destinations, the tours represent a truly new and unique way to experience the region- and a new way to cruise’.
A complete Wellness Getaway at Sea will mean that guests onboard can wake to a choice of several healthy Canyon Ranch breakfast options in the tranquil Grand Dining Room, such as a three egg-white omelette with seasonal vegetables and cheese.
The morning continues with an enriching wellness tour in Taormina bringing the mind-body invigoration of a yoga class to the dramatic beauty of Sicily.
Back onboard, guests might round out the day with a signature treatment at the Canyon Ranch SpaClub, such as soothing Canyon Stone Massage or a detoxifying Seaweed Leaf Wrap.
Come dinnertime, Canyon Ranch selections in the Grand Dining Room ensure guests can enjoy healthy dishes like the steamed Maine lobster atop savoury Castilla-La Mancha saffron rice followed by warm, fragrant chocolate cake.
Along with the debut of the new wellness tour series, Oceania Cruises is also offering Canyon Ranch wellness specials, pairing select Canyon Ranch SpaClub treatments with the new tours, which offers generous savings while encouraging guests to tale advantage of the line’s full suite of wellness amenities.
Other highlighted Wellness Tours will include The Pope’s Thermal Baths in Civitavecchia, Italy, where guests can enjoy some heavenly relaxation and resorative benefits at the Viterbo Terme dei Papi, or the Thermal Baths of the Popes; Vinyasa Yoga at Monte Carlo Bay where the resort offers paradise views as guests enjoy a private vinyasa yoga class (dynamic style of yoga recognised for a host of mind-body benefits).
Reseverations for Wellness Tours Inspired by Canyon Ranch will open on 1st April 2017.
