Oceania Cruises just announced that as part of the line’s fleet enhancement program, OceaniaNEXT, passengers will benefit from new policies and programmes.
“As OceaniaNEXT continues to evolve, travellers and travel agent partners will see we are innovating and enhancing all aspects of the Oceania Cruises experience, in ways both large and small, yet always meaningful and impactful,” stated Executive Vice President of Oceania Cruises, James Rodriguez.
The perks include:
Shipboard credit policy change
Oceania guests can now use onboard credit prior to cruising, for example to pay for tours, drinks packages, culinary classes and speciality dining at La Reserve and Privee.
This change will start to impact passengers sailing on or after May 19th 2019.
Pre-cruise savings programme
The luxury line has made the decision to extend its onboard booking incentives; the perks will now kick in when booking 30 days before your cruise departs.
Oceania offers future cruise booking savings and incentives for guests that book their next voyage on board, or within 30 days of returning home.
The line is innovating once again by extending these benefits to guests for the 30-day period prior to departure.
Travellers that have already chosen their next Oceania experience have the option to reserve it prior to departure and receive the exclusive savings and Best Price Guarantee in advance.
Luggage valet
Oceania has partnered with Luggage Forward to treat guests to baggage transportation from their home to their ship of choice in more than 150 ports of call.
This means passengers no longer need to carry and check bags so can say goodbye to the hassle of potentially lost luggage or moving heavy suitcases.
Guests should notice that pricing varies by destination and type of bag shipped.
Oceania unveiled the OceaniaNEXT initiative in August 2018 with the reveal of a $100-million refurbishment of its four oldest and smallest ships.
Insignia will be the first ship to get a makeover in time for the December and future phases of OceaniaNEXT will touch on dining and destinations.
