Let’s delve into the splendour of P&O Cruises’ variety of sparkling, summer 2026 itineraries…

Arvia

For sun-seeking families looking for a half-term escape, Arvia will be operating four, 7-night Southern Cruise breaks to France and Spain over May half-term and the start of the school holidays. There are two different itineraries to choose from, which all feature six port calls in 14 nights.

The first itinerary includes stops in La Spezia, for Florence and Pisa, and Civitavecchia, for the romantic, city of Rome! Guests onboard can travel to this iconic Italian city and see some of its most impressive sights, from the beautiful Trevi Fountain to the awe-inspiring Colosseum!

The second itinerary focuses solely on Spain and France, calling at the eclectic city of Barcelona and magical Malaga.

Iona

Iona, much like her sister ship Arvia, will also be spending her summer months cruising around France and Spain, as part of four, new 7-night Southern Cruise breaks to this must-visit corner of the world. During these cruises, Iona is set to make a variety of fantastic port calls – including in Lisbon, where she will dock overnight for a select few sailings.

Alongside these cruises, Iona will also continue to voyage through the glistening waters of the Norwegian Fjords. These already popular itineraries, taking place between April and September, feature calls to Hellesylt and Flaam, both within a UNESCO World Heritage area, as well as Olden, Alesund, Stavanger and Haugesund.

Britannia

As well as her usual spell of 7-night Norwegian Fjords, 14-night Scandinavia and Northern Europe, and 14-night Mediterranean Island sailings, Britannia will be switching it up in 2026 with her very first cruise to the land of Fire and Ice – Iceland. This spectacular sailing is built for adventurers, as it includes two full days in Iceland’s capital, Reykjavik plus other picturesque port calls in Akureyri and Isafjordur.

For cruisers looking for warmer climbs, Britannia will also be debuting a new 21-night Mediterranean cruise that’s full of culture and history. This cruise includes port calls in Dubrovnik, Zadar and Spilt, plus Sardinia, Corfu, Malta and Mallorca.

Azura

It’s all about fly-cruises for Azura in 2026! Every Thursday, Azura will depart from Malta on a variety of Western, Central and Eastern Mediterranean, 7, or 14-night cruises. Keen port explorers can experience the wonders of Naples, Kusadasi, with tours to Ephesus, Mykonos, Santorini, Taranto, Cephalonia, and Spilt during these exciting itineraries.

Additionally, six of the 7-night sailings are due to feature two full days in the stunning capital of Valletta – a treasure trove of Baroque architecture, rich history and winding alleyways.

Ventura

Days and nights spent in the inviting, azure waters of the Canary Islands lay ahead for Ventura in 2026. This mighty ship will be spending the majority of her time cruising on 14-night Atlantic Island cruises, 7 and 10-night Southern Cruise breaks, plus a handful of short sailings to the Netherlands!

One of Ventura’s sailings also coincides with the must-see Solar Eclipse, due to take place (weather permitting!) in El Ferrol, Spain in August 2026. Alongside this amazing natural event, this itinerary also treats guests to an overnight port call in Lisbon.

Aurora & Arcadia

Exclusively for adults ships Aurora and Arcadia will continue to sail away to sensational destinations around the world in 2026.

Aurora will voyage on two slightly longer Mediterranean itineraries, with the first departing in August for 21 nights, visiting La Goulette in Tunisia plus two full days in Istanbul, and the second setting off in September for 24 nights calling at Pireaus (with tours to Athens), Limassol (Cyprus) and Alexandria, Egypt.

Arcadia will be departing on a memorable Icelandic cruise in August, providing the opportunity to potentially see a total solar eclipse from Isafjordur – weather and cloud cover permitting, of course! This itinerary also includes a two-day port call in Greenock, the gateway to bustling Glasgow, a buzzing hub of culture, maritime history and epic, rugged coastlines.
