New Family Fun Entertainment Onboard Carnival Jubilee

New Family Fun Entertainment Onboard Carnival Jubilee

Carnival Cruise Line will debut unique family experiences onboard its newest ship, Carnival Jubilee– from the world of Dr. Seuss to faraway galaxies.

The cruise line’s newest flagship will welcome a roster of new and reimagined entertainment and activities for kids, tweens, teens and their families. The fresh programming will aim to inspire journeys through the world of Dr. Suess, plus experiences that celebrate global cultures and provide a glimpse at venturing into outer space.

Space Cruisers Programme

Partnering with Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex, Carnival Jubilee will host a high-tech space wall inside Camp Ocean, allowing young cruisers to imagine being at the helm of their very own spacecraft.

Featuring an LED screen designed to mimic the dashboard of a space capsule, this themed addition to Carnival’s Space Cruisers Programme will add extraordinary NASA space imagery to promote STEM and encourage hands-on learning experiences.

Immersive Experiences

Onboard Carnival Jubilee, kids can be inspired by creativity and find plenty of fun throughout the ship.

In the Currents zone, “portholes” are created through LED technology to produce a virtual aquarium where cruisers can design their own unique sea creature and watch as it magically comes to life.

More Opportunities to ‘See the World’

As a highly rated programme for teens that is already providing enriching fun across the fleet, See The World will be expanded onboard Carnival Jubilee.

The Panagbenga Festival will be brought to life onboard, developed collaboratively with several of Carnival’s team members from the Philippines to ensure its authenticity. From a flower parade, to jewellery making, teens in Club O2 and Circle “C” can discover new, culturally rich experiences.

“Night Owls Camp Out”

Providing a new themed programme for kids onboard Carnival Jubilee, Night Owls Camp Out will continue the fun into the evening under the care of Carnival’s experienced youth team.

Activities in the programme will include outdoor camp-themed challenges (such as obstacle courses and singing around a “campfire”), as well as competitions, crafts, dance parties and giveaways.

‘Fox in Socks’ Joins Seuss at Sea

From 6th January 2024, the family favourite, Dr. Seuss Breakfast, will become a birthday party led by Thing 1 and 2. This new take on breakfast will feature brand-new menu items, activities, music, and more. This exciting breakfast experience will also be implemented into the Seuss at Sea programme across the fleet once launched on Carnival Jubilee.

Additionally, from 17th February 2024, the popular Seuss-a-palooza Parade is welcoming the new character of ‘Fox in Socks’ to join the fun. In this parade, a series of colourful scenes will come to life on the LED screens along the walls and ceilings of the two-deck Currents zone.

Not stopping there, Seuss-a-palooza Story Time will also now feature the popular Dr. Seuss book: Green Eggs & Ham. Hosted by the ship’s Cruise Director, this interactive and immersive story time event will feature scenes from the book coming to life to engage the whole family.

Enhancements to the Ultimate Playground and Camp Ocean

After Carnival Jubilee‘s initial launch, Planet Play at Sea (a space-themed toddler playground) will also be added to the ship. As a new toddler space in the ship’s Ultimate Playground zone, it is modelled off of Planet Play; a fully-immersive play experience located at Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex. This will provide a special play experience to inspire imagination and space exploration for the youngest cruisers onboard.

Additionally, soon facial recognition technology will also be deployed to the ship’s youth area for junior cruisers. Already introduced on sister-ship Mardi Gras, this is a crucial part of the check-in and check-out process at Camp Ocean on Carnival’s Excel-class ships, using facial recognition to authenticate a match between the child and and adults authorized on the family’s behalf.

The exciting new programming onboard Carnival Jubilee complements the existing wide variety of popular experiences onboard other existing Carnival ships: from favourites like Build-a-Bear Workshop and Zumbini family experiences, to the thrilling BOLT Ultimate SeaCoaster, plus miniature golf, a suspended ropes course, expansive sports court, and WaterWorks aquapark.

“Kids and multigenerational families sailing on Carnival Jubilee are set to enjoy a new level of fun with all new experiences tailored to every age group. We’re welcoming new characters, creating new spaces, and telling new stories so everyone in the family can make the most of their cruise vacation.”
