New Cruise Ships To Look Forward To In 2021

Cruise lines are constantly expanding their fleets and innovating the industry onboard their ships with technology, cabin designs and services and entertainment.

So, with many of you looking to 2021 for your next cruise, we thought it might be a good idea to look at some of the ships cruise lines are planning to launch in 2021 and some of the things these new ships may offer their guest.

Virgin Voyages

In 2020, Sir Richard Branson launched his very first cruise line into his empire, Virgin Voyages and with that his very first cruise ship, the Scarlet Lady. With one ship under their belt, Virgin Voyages are already gearing up for their second ship launch in 2021. The Valiant Lady will be launched early 2021 and will look similar to the Scarlet Lady but will be based in Barcelona and offer Mediterranean itineraries for guests.

Royal Caribbean

Royal Caribbean is known for building the biggest ship in the world, Symphony of the Seas but in 2021 they’ll be trying to beat their own record when they build Wonder of the Seas. She will be the fifth ship in the fleet of oasis class of ships and will be the first of its class so sail the Asia Pacific.

Wonder of the Seas

Celebrity Cruises

After the launch of Celebrity Edge in 2018 and Celebrity Apex in 2019, Celebrity Cruises have announced that in 2021 they will be launching their third ship to join it’s Edge Class ships. Her name is yet to be revealed but we know so far that she will include some of the fantastic features that her sisters have including The Magic Carpet (a movable deck to dine and relax on), infinite balcony cabins as well as two “martini glass” Jacuzzis that overlook the deck below.

Princess Cruises

Princess Cruises’ Royal-class ships are known for their unique features among the fleet including the famous ‘Sea Walk’ as well as the extensive dining options available to guests. In 2021 Princess Cruises will be adding another Royal-class ship to their fleet which is yet to be named. They have also said that the new ship will not only include many of our favourite Royal-class features but also some new stuff for guests to experience too.

MSC Cruises

MSC Cruises will be adding to their already huge fleet in 2021 with MSC Seashore which will join the Seaside class of ships. The ship is to feature the latest and most advanced environmental technology, including a state-of-the-art Selective Catalytic Reduction (SCR) system and a next-generation Advanced Wastewater Treatment (AWT) system.

So as you can see there is lots to get excited about when it comes to new ships for 2021. Have you already secured your cabin on one of these ships? What are you most looking forward to about these new ships? Let us know in the comments below.
