MSC Cruises Unveils Expanded Kids Entertainment Roster

Smaller cruisers can enjoy even more entertaining activities onboard a MSC Cruise this summer, the cruise line has revealed.

MSC Cruises has expanded its schedule of family-orientated entertainment and dedicated onboard services, including facilitating later hours at kids’ clubs and adding new family game shows. These pursuits will be available onboard an array of MSC Cruises ships, alongside already popular onboard pastimes, such as LEGO activities, the Cabin 12006 Secret Game, MSC Dance Crew and Masterchef at Sea Juniors.

“We host more than 600,000 children and teenagers across our entire fleet every year, and we want to make sure every single one of them disembarks having had the best experience.

That’s why it’s so important for us to continually listen to their feedback and follow entertainment trends. Music, game shows, digital innovation and trained youth staff are the pillars we turned into reality.”

Matteo Mancini, Corporate Senior Manager Kids Entertainment

For the first time ever, MSC Cruises will now provide care services for babies, as young as six months old, in addition to other services already in place for little ones aged 1 and over. The new services are being delivered in collaboration with renowned children’s retailer and long-time MSC Cruises partner Chicco, making sure that some of the youngest passengers onboard are well cared for by specially trained staff.

Elsewhere, MSC Cruises’ dedicated teenagers club, for cruisers aged between 12 and 17 years old, can also now enjoy epic activities with their friends for even longer onboard thanks to extended opening hours. Teenagers clubs will now be open from 10am to 1pm and 3pm to midnight on sea days, and 3pm to midnight on port days.

Aside from longer opening hours for kids’ clubs, two new family-orientated game shows, World Quest and Caravaggio, will now be a part of MSC Cruises’ family-friendly schedule of entertainment. World Quest has been dubbed by MSC Cruises as an engaging trivia game for geography buffs, and Caravaggio as an exciting spy-thriller-themed activity dedicated to the arts.

Additionally, following trials on select MSC ships, the cruise line’s hugely popular Guinness World Record activities will now be available onboard MSC World Europa, MSC Euribia, MSC Seascape, MSC Seashore, MSC Magnifica, MSC Divina, MSC Meraviglia, MSC Virtuosa and MSC Grandiosa. Fantastic for parents and children, this record-breaking quiz show encourages families to work together to win big prizes.

MSC Cruises’ kids clubs are free for all children to enjoy whilst onboard. Alongside dedicated activities suitable for all ages, children can also tuck into complimentary lunch and dinner at kids club events, providing parents peace of mind while at sea.
