MSC Cruises To Welcome Celebrity Chefs Onboard

MSC Cruises will welcome three celebrity chefs to its 2024 World Cruise onboard MSC Poesia.

During this trip of a lifetime, MSC Poesia will visit 52 destinations across 31 countries. In order to enrich this experience further, the three celebrity chefs joining the adventure will allow guests to discover the world through their palate with an enriched culinary programme onboard.

The chefs are joining the world cruise at different intervals to prepare a complete menu, from three to four courses, each showcasing the very best of their respective cuisines from across the globe.

South African Celebrity Chef, Restaurateur and Media Personality Reuben Riffell will serve a menu inspired by local flavours. Guests will have a chance to taste authentic cape spiced pickled fish, peppered Karoo lamb and malva pudding.

Veteran Brazilian Chef and Restauranteur Allan Vila Espejo will serve up a menu featuring authentic Manioc soup, Bahia-style fish stew with vegetables and coconut milk, and a traditional Brazilian chocolate coconut cake.

Michelin-starred Swedish chef, TV personality and author Niklas Ekstedt will serve dishes inspired by natural ingredients and his farm-to-ocean ethos including dishes such as poached lobster and confit salmon.

Additionally, guests will also be able to meet the chefs in person as they taste their delicacies in the ship’s onboard restaurants.

Travellers wishing to explore far and wide in 2025 have the possibility to book cabins onboard MSC Magnifica for MSC’s 2025 World Cruise, featuring a brand-new itinerary with 50 amazing destinations in 21 different countries: including the Mediterranean, Africa, South America, New Zealand, Australia, Asia and the Red Sea, before returning to Europe via Jordan and Egypt.

For those looking to plan ahead even further, bookings are also open for MSC’s 2026 World Cruise onboard MSC Magnifica, departing in January. On this new itinerary, guests will visit 47 sensational destinations in 32 countries, giving the opportunity to discover some of Europe’s most renowned cities in Italy, France, Spain, and Portugal, before crossing to the Caribbean and Central America.

From here, Magnifica will make her way to the USA West Coast before crossing the Pacific Ocean to explore Asia. Guests will return home via Greece.
