MSC cruises have announced today their first ever world cruise. Sailing on the MSC Magnifica, guests will travel for 119 days to 49 unique destinations across the world.

Setting sail in January 2019 the cruise will begin a round the world voyage from Genoa and return back here after a 4 month adventure.

MSC’s CEO, Gianni Onorato, said: “As a company, MSC Cruises is committed to providing truly special and unique experiences for its guests. For this reason, when developing the world cruise and its one-of-a-kind itinerary, we have listened to their feedback and know that, for many, the opportunity to travel the world in comfort and style is a lifelong aspiration.”

“As one of the world’s truly international cruise companies, making available to our guests and travellers from around the globe a product such as a world cruise is a natural progression. Naturally, we did it in true MSC Cruises fashion, by making available the best possible ship to enjoy such a voyage – MSC Magnifica – and featuring an itinerary like no other available in the market.”

Highlights of the cruise include the opportunity to visit bucket list destinations like New Zealand, Fiji and the Maldives. Whilst at these destinations, passengers will have extended time ashore with an average of 13 hours in port per port of call as well as extended stays with four full days in Polynesia, three full days in Hawaii and San Francisco and two days in Los Angeles.

Guests will also exclusively enjoy 15 complimentary shore excursions as part of their trip and discounts on amenities such as laundry services.

The MSC Magnifica itself holds 2,550 passengers and boasts one of the highest ratios of balcony cabins at sea, as well as a 4D cinema, four restaurants, eleven bars, the award winning Aurea Spa and a Swarovski crystal staircase.
