Lionel Richie to Rock Carnival Cruises!

Lionel Richie to Rock Carnival Cruises!

As part of their new Carnival LIVE concert series, Carnival Cruise Line have announced that the legend himself Lionel Richie will be performing aboard Carnival vessels this summer and autumn.

Needless to say Lionel Richie is a big enough attraction by himself but other musicians will also be performing, such as The Band Perry, BOSTON and Heart.

This follows the blockbuster spring season which kicked off last month, featuring fantastic performances from Journey, Rascal Flatts, Little Big Town, Smokey Robinson and Styx.

Carnival LIVE offers entertainment like no other cruise line, bringing the festival atmosphere to sea for the first time ever.

The concerts are performed while the vessels are docked in one of three ports; Cozumel, Massau and St. Thomas.

Carnival LIVE’s director, Bernie Dillon has said; “We’re thrilled to build upon the tremendous success of Carnival LIVE with concerts this summer and fall by The Band Perry, BOSTON, Lionel Richie and Heart – four incredibly talented acts that will provide our guests with an extraordinary entertainment experience.”

Lionel Richie can be found aboard Carnival Freedom October 14th, and Carnival Pride October 15th while the ships are docked in Nassau – definitely the most exciting performance, as far as we’re concerned!

Carnival LIVE tickets will range from $35 to $75 – much cheaper than your usual arena tour for a world famous artist! More expensive tickets, between $125 and $250, can be purchased, guaranteeing a seat in one of the first four rows and a small meet-and-greet with the musicians after the show.

Would Lionel Richie entice you on to a Carnival cruise?
