Historic Meeting For Cruise Ships in Bergen

Historic Meeting For Cruise Ships in Bergen

Being dubbed the “4 Bs in Bergen” Fred Olsen’s Balmoral, Braemar, Boudicca and Black Watch will unite at the Port of Bergen on 28th July.

This is the very first time ever that the Fred Olsen fleet has been gathered in the same port together, making it an unmissable sight for Fred fans.

Fred Olsen’s Managing Director Mike Rodwell is enthusiastic about the event, saying;

“This is a very special occasion for Fred. Olsen Cruise Lines, and we know that the city of Bergen is looking forward to welcoming our fleet on this unique day this Summer.  We are committed to the city of Bergen on our Norwegian cruise itineraries, and we have been calling at the Port every year since 1997. In fact, the number of days that Fred. Olsen ships have spent in Bergen from 2006 to 2015 is 176 in total, and we know that the city is a highlight to many of our guests on cruises to our historic homeland.”

That’s not all – there are festivities planned for day too including Norwegian-themed marching bands, singers, on-board entertainment and of the opportunity to see all four Fred Olsen ships for yourself – inside and out!

There’s also an inter-ship treasure hunt planned with a £200 gift card to be won and put against the price of a future Fred Olsen cruise.

There might not be a display from the Red Arrows, but Fred Olsen’s celebrations in Bergen sound like an event Fred fans simply can’t miss out on!
