First Wave Of New Features For Enchanted Princess Unveiled

Princess Cruises has just released details of the new features guests can expect onboard its newest ship, Enchanted Princess.

The 3,660-guest vessel will hold its naming ceremony in Southampton in late June 2020, making it the first Princess ship to be named in the UK since Royal Princess in 2013.

The line announced the name of their fifth Royal-class ship in August this year, stating that it “conveys the elegance and grace of ship which will introduce more travelers to the pleasures and value of cruising.”

Just like sister ship Sky Princess, launching next year, Enchanted Princess will boast two new ‘Sky Suites’ centrally located on the top deck of the ship.

The 270-degree panorama staterooms will provide the most perfect, private viewpoint for the line’s famous Movies under the Stars screen, and the suites will accommodate up to five guests.

Vice president Princess Cruises UK and Europe, Tony Roberts, said: “With the launch of Enchanted Princess in Southampton and our continued commitment to enhancing the range of features onboard our growing fleet of ships, this is an exciting time for Princess Cruises as we constantly strive to appeal to passengers looking for something new and exciting, both in terms of onboard offerings and destinations.”

Enchanted Princess will feature some more exciting details:

-A redesigned ‘Salty Dog Gastropub’, screening sport events with premium-range food and drink- including the award-winning ‘Ernesto Burger’

Meanwhile, bookings for 2020 voyages to southern and northern Europe departing from Southampton, on the UK-based ships Crown Princess and Island Princess, can be made from Thursday November 8th at 9am.

Enchanted Princess will be followed by the debut of the sixth Royal-Class ship in 2021, and the line also have two Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) powered ships on order to be delivered in late 2023 and spring 2025.
