Extra Benefits Added For Biggest Spenders

Royal Caribbean is currently working to produce a new suite class, which will give an exclusive experience for those who are sailing in suite-category cabins.

Their spokesman Harrison Lui has said that the programme is currently in the planning phase.

President Michael Bayley said that it will begin sometime in 2016 and that the idea was to make it an all-inclusive product.

Michael Bayley has previously been president of Celebrity Cruises during the time that they introduced suite class. This concept has proved popular for Celebrity and gives those in suites access to additional benefits such as a premium drinks package, unlimited speciality dining, a mini-bar restocked daily and unlimited internet access.

Royal Caribbean’s “suite-class” would expand on the amenities already available for those who stay in senior-level suites which currently gives passengers priority check-in, concierge club, tender priority, VIP pool deck seating and private breakfast and lunch seating.

Bayley also said that the Royal Caribbean suite class would be intended for high-value guests. However, Royal have yet to reveal whether they will imitate Celebrities range of benefits for suite passengers.

Are you excited about the new suite class on Royal? Do you think it will create too much separation between passengers? Let us know in the comments below!
