We’ve had an exclusive look at images of the brand new Royal Caribbean ship Harmony of the Seas being built. The new Oasis class vessel isn’t set to launch until May but the ship is already well under way and taking shape – as you can see below!
We recently reported that Harmony of the Seas will feature an incredible 10 storey high slide, (which you can read about here), but there will also be plenty of other exciting features. These include Central Park, and outdoor area with real trees and plants where you can enjoy a real “oasis” at sea! You can see the beginnings of the outdoor area being built for central park here.
And here is the glass roof that will give light to decks below, thanks to the innovative central park space.
Here is the start of the Bionic Bar…
And this is the beginning of the most impressive part of the ship. The back of the vessel will not only feature an AquaTheatre but the storey slide too. Want to find out more about the AquaTheatre’s? Read our Introduction To Royal Caribbean here!

Here is a glimpse of the start of a jacuzzi and pool…
And here a worker continues the paint job on the hull of the ship. Those are quite large letters!
As she is an Oasis class ship, Harmony will have seven unique neighbourhoods on-board, just like sister ships Oasis and Allure of the Seas.
They include the Royal Promenade, Boardwalk, Central Park, Pool and Sports Zone, Youth Zone, Entertainment Place and the Vitality At Sea Spa & Fitness Centre.
When she’s finished, Harmony will carry 5,479 guests and weigh in at 227,000 gross tons.
Her theatres will feature shows such as Grease the musical.
She’s a pretty impressive sight isn’t she?
