Disney have revealed a ‘Halloween On The High Seas’ and ‘Very Merry Time’ themed cruises in which passengers can get involved in seasonal activities. So if you’re not a very festive person, we advise you stop reading now…
Halloween on the high seas cruises will entertain its guests with:
Mickey’s Mousequerade party- A trick or treat and dance party with some of the most popular Disney Characters in the Atrium Lobby.
Halloween themed activities for all ages, mask making for the younger ones and pumpkin carving for the teens.
Sing and SCREAM! Tim Burton’s ‘The nightmare before Christmas’ – an interactive movie experience that allows you to become part of the action, followed by a meet and greet with Jack and Sally!
Haunted Stories of the seas- A camp-fire style story telling experience. OoooOOo
Halloween movie marathon- To get passengers in the spirit of Halloween, movies will be shown on funnel vision and the dedicated in-room television channel.
However… it’s not just the ‘kiddiwinks’ that get all the fun, Adults can attend an adults only party that includes a costume contest!
On board Disney’s Very Merrytime cruises a life sized gingerbread house and 24ft Christmas tree won’t look out of place as there’s plenty similar weird and wonderful ‘goings on’ such as;
The tree lighting ceremony in which kids will be invited to help light the tree in order to kick start the holiday festivities!
Deck the tropical holiday party, this celebration includes candy cane limbo, dancing, fun games and lots more.
Of course Santa being the magical man he is, will be on-board to meet and greet the excited guests to see what they want for Christmas!
Some of the world’s favourite Disney Characters will also be there to meet and greet guests in their finest Christmassy attire.
All guests can gather together and recite their favourite Christmas stories.
Castaway Cay, Disney’s own private island in the Caribbean, will be decorated in a blanket of snow too, guests will all be made aware to be on the lookout for Mr. and Mrs. Snowman dressed in their island attire!
