Cunard’s Queen Elizabeth Celebrates Her First Decade!

Cunard’s Queen Elizabeth Celebrates Her First Decade!

Cast your mind back to 2010…Prince William and Kate Middleton got engaged, Apple released their first-ever iPad but most importantly, Cunard launched their brand new ship, Queen Elizabeth!

Queen Elizabeth is the third Cunard Queen of her name. The first being RMS Queen Elizabeth (1939-1968), the second being QE2 (1969-2008). Not only was HM The Queen present at the launch of the current Queen Elizabeth, but she was also present at all three ceremonies.

With art deco features, a unique sports deck and the famous red funnel, Queen Elizabeth is one of the most recognisable ship in the world.  Whether it’s visiting vibrant ports or choosing from an array of exciting activities, a journey on Queen Elizabeth is one you’ll never forget.

From theatre to wines, art to literature, Queen Elizabeth celebrates your passions. Enjoy croquet on her Games Deck, stunning entertainment in Royal Court Theatre or relax in her elegant conservatory.

With the addition of Alaska to her itinerary list in 2019, Queen Elizabeth isn’t afraid to go to new places for her guests’ enjoyment. The launch of her new programme for 2021 sees the return of the fly-med season for adventures closer to home.

As some of you may have seen, Cunard’s Queen Elizabeth will be returning to the UK and Europe in the summer of 2021 and we have just received more details of some of the amazing itineraries you’ll be able to experience onboard Cunard when they go on sale.

Not only will she call at over 100 ports and over 20 countries during the 10 months, but she’ll be offering you a range of different sailing options from 3 to 23-nights onboard.
