Event Voyages are unique, tailor-made experiences curated around popular themes, including arts and literature, gastronomy and wine, and music and dance. These exclusive cruises offer inspiring interactive workshops and masterclasses, dazzling performances and thought-provoking speakers from renowned professionals in their industry.

Cunard Lines have recently announced their schedule of Event Voyages for 2023, and we’re excited to share the highlights with you:

Dance The Atlantic 

Ship: Queen Mary 2 Cruise

Region: Westbound Transatlantic

Date: 11th – 18th August 2023

Dance the Atlantic celebrates the world of dance and the phenomenal talent of the English National Ballet. With unprecedented access to rehearsals, workshops and classes, as well as the chance to meet and mingle with English National Ballet dancers, this Event Voyage offers you an incredible insight into a creative world that is both beautiful and relentless. The cruise concludes with a memorable performance at the Royal Court Theatre, where your new understanding of this craft will bring an enhanced appreciation of the dedicated skill and talent required.

Anthony Inglis and the UK’s National Symphony Orchestra

Immerse yourself in the exquisite world of classical music with Anthony Inglis and the UK’s National Symphony Orchestra. You’ll get the opportunity to gain a unique understanding of this illustrious and charismatic conductor as he reveals fascinating stories about his life before Inglis takes the lead in conducting three performances of classical music in the Royal Court Theatre. Festival of Food & Wine

Become immersed in gastronomic grandeur with Cunard’s first Festival of Food & Wine. This Event Voyage brings onboard a series of impressive guests, including Michel Roux Jr, legendary two Michelin-starred Chef Patron at Le Gavroche and The Sunday Times columnist and award-winning wine writer Will Lyons, as well as Cunard’s very own talented chefs, sommeliers, and mixologists.

Temptations will be everywhere with cooking demonstrations and wine pairings, culinary talks, tastings, and Q&A sessions on all things gastronomical. For an extra-special treat, Michel Roux Jr will bring the famous cuisine of Le Gavroche to sea with a seven-course, fine-dining feast at The Verandah. For wine connoisseurs, there’s also the chance for you to join the Cunard Wine Academy and obtain your WSET (Wine & Spirit Education Trust) Level 1 Award.

Literature Festival at Sea

For literary lovers, the Literature Festival at Sea will be the ultimate haven. This Event Voyage has been curated by the programming team of The Times and The Sunday Times Cheltenham Literature Festival to celebrate the written word in all its variety.

Guests include bestselling authors Lynda La Plante, Kate Mosse and Anthony Beevor; journalists Julia Wheeler, Daniel Finkelstein and Alex Clark; literary agent Luigi Bonomi; and former Home Secretary and author Alan Johnson. Offering thought-provoking conversation at workshops, Q&A sessions, and speaker events that cover all manner of subjects, both fact and fiction, as well as treasured book signings, this cruise will expand your imagination and leave you utterly inspired.

Great Australian Culinary Voyage

Australia has a remarkable culinary history, and this Event Voyage provides the opportunity to become immersed in it while indulging your love of food and wine. Australia’s Gardening Journey

Date: 4th – 11th February 2023

Cunard’s inaugural gardening voyage will delight those with green fingers with ship and shore activities. Leading gardening experts and well-known personalities, such as Graham Ross and Jamie Durie, will be sharing their insights during informative talks, intimate dinners and exciting stop-off experiences. With days in Adelaide, Hobart and Port Arthur, you’ll have the chance to join these bespoke tours taking in beautiful gardens in each city. The green twist continues throughout Cunard’s entertainment programme, which includes hands-on workshops, gardening trivia, special craft classes and lessons in cooking from the gardens.

Beatles and Beyond

Date: 19th – 28th April 2023

Book on the first-ever Beatles and Beyond Event Voyage and relive the Best of British. Centred around the sounds of the sixties and seventies, you can get grooving to the music of The Rolling Stones, The Who, The Kinks, Small Faces, Tom Jones, and pop-rock legends, The Beatles in The Queens Room. With film, food tasting and demonstrations also showcasing this theme, you’ll feel like you’ve been transported back in time. The voyage concludes with a spectacular finale in the Royal Court Theatre, where The Bootleg Beatles, the world’s leading Beatles tribute band, are set to bring you a night to remember.
