Cunard Just Announced An Interesting New Option For Your Drinks Onboard

Cunard has just revealed a range of new inclusive drinks options on board the entire fleet, beginning this month.

The announcement comes after the success of ‘A world of drinks’ pilot on board Queen Mary 2 this summer; the new options will be available to purchase for voyages of five days or more.

‘A World of drinks’ will be available on each ship on the following dates:

-Queen Elizabeth on December 17th 2018
-Queen Mary 2 on December 22nd  2018
-Queen Victoria on December 23rd 2018

Guests will be able to enjoy an additional layer of convenience and flexibility with more ways to enjoy the extensive range of beverages on board with the option to cover their bar tab in advance with a fixed daily price inclusive of service charge.

‘A World of drinks’ range includes:

-A Soft Drinks Option at $10 per guest per day (unlimited draught soft drinks, selected fruit juices, squash and cordials)

-A Speciality Hot Drinks Option at $15 per guest per day (unlimited speciality coffees, Tea Forté infusions and hot chocolate)

-A Premium Soft Drinks Option at $29 per guest per day (unlimited refreshments from a range of soft drinks, small bottled waters, freshly squeezed juices, speciality hot drinks and non-alcoholic cocktails).

There is also a 20% discount on any non-alcoholic drinks not included in the Premium Soft Drinks Option.

-A Beers, Wines and Spirits Option at $69 per guest per day (beverages from the world’s leading brands, including the line’s very own signature 3 Queens Gin, wines by the glass, spirits, liqueurs and cocktails up to $11 per serving).

This includes the benefits of the Premium Soft Drinks option and guests will receive a 20% discount on drinks above $11, some bottles of wine and large bottles of water.

Complimenting these new options will be Cunard’s existing Wine Collection, offering fine wines from around the world, from $299.

The line’s expert sommeliers have handpicked a range of fine wines from around the world to create two distinctly different yet equally exquisite wine collections: the Commodore’s Collection and the Captain’s Collection.

Guests can create their very own tailor-made selection, of either 6, 12, 24 or 48 bottles; from crisp whites to full-bodied reds, each Cunard wine will impress.

Each of the drink options is inclusive of service charge and the value of the drinks a guest can select from is up to $11- the flat rate published in menus.

Therefore, guests can select a drink to the published value and not the value plus service charge.
