This Cruise Line Was Just Awarded For Three Magnificent Things: Here’s What You Need To Know

As 2017 draws to a close, MSC has hit the jackpot with the awards every cruise line wishes for (in Cruise Critic’s Editors’ Picks).

The Mediterranean cruise line was honoured with three awards; in the UK, MSC was named “Best Cruise Line for Families,” MSC Meraviglia was named “Best New Ship” and in the US, MSC Seaside was named “Best New Ship.”

This year has seen the launch of two new mega-ships for MSC with a newly-announced plan to launch a new vessel every year for the next decade.

Best Cruise Line for Families

This award resulted in praise of the entire fleet on behalf of its continued dedication to the family guest experience: “MSC Cruises has long been family friendly, with a well-established kids-go-free offer, but recently it has gone a stage further.”

Antonio Paradiso, MD of MSC Cruises for the UK & Ireland said ‘Family has always been a priority for us and we are delighted to have been recognised in this area fleet-wide.

As a family company we understand the importance of ensuring that both parents and children have an unforgettable holiday at an affordable price.

We are constantly evolving and enriching our family offering to ensure that we have the widest range of activities and facilities for children of all ages.’

“Best New Ship (UK)”

This award brought praise to MSC Meraviglia for its speciality restaurants onboard, guest service, and new cabin types.

On MSC Meraviglia winning best new ship, the UK MD said ‘MSC Meraviglia is one of the best sold ships this year and first of a new generation of purpose built connected ships.

It has strong appeal for UK market, offering a huge variety in entertainment, dining, and onboard experiences that British passengers have come to expect from a cruise holiday.’

Best New Ship”

This award brought attention to MSC Seaside as the ship “destined to become one of the best Miami-based ships around” with its South Beach inspired design, the open-air promenade and alfresco dining, the massive water and adventure park, and all nine restaurants onboard.

MSC has just announced a fantastic School Holiday cruise onboard the ship just voted best for families, MSC Meraviglia, for seven nights departing from Genoa on 1st April 2018; stops along the way will include Civiravecchia (tours for Rome), Palermo, Valletta, Barcalona, and Marseille.

Prices are just £3,596 for a family of four in a balcony cabin. Click here to read more on this deal!
