Cruise Line Impresses Guests With Never-Before-Seen Staterooms

Carnival Cruises has just announced the introduction of a new stateroom category on the line’s upcoming vessel Carnival Horizon.

The ship is still currently under construction by Fincantieri in Italy and will carry 3,934 guests on its maiden voyage that will depart Barcelona, Spain on April 2nd 2018 as a 14-day Meditteranean cruise.

Carnival Horizon, due to arrive in Spring 2018, will feature the new category named the Aft-View Extended Balcony Cabins whilst also adding 18 tropics-inspired staterooms within the popular Havana section onboard.

The new aft-view category will be targeted to families with a bright modern feeling, blending in well for Caribbean cruises whilst the staterooms themselves will feature large screens, TV’s, complimentary breakfast and snacks.

The 18 new Havana staterooms on Carnival Horizon will be located aft on Deck 6, 8 and 9 and will be Cuban inspired with exclusive access to the Havana area onboard, including a bar and pool.

But what do you think of these tropical-inspired staterooms? Is this something you’d love to see, or are you happy enough with your usual cabin choices? Have your say in our poll!

Do you think more staterooms should be catered for families with decor and features? Would you prefer if more cruise lines created new stateroom categories for a more specific audience? What theme would you most love your cabin to fashion? Leave us your comments!
