Recently guests on board Crown Princess had their say when it came to choosing Cruise Entertainer of the Year 2015.
Comedians, magicians, vocalists, tribute bands and novelty performers are just some genres from hundreds of acts that perform on board Princess Cruises on a yearly basis. The top four of these talented artists were short-listed and performed to hundreds of guests on board the Crown Princess. The guests then cast their ballot and selected Ben Seidman for Princess Cruise’s Entertainer of the Year, who along with the title won a cash prize of $5,000!
Seidman (who currently stars in magic outlaws on the travel channel) was the first person in history to be named the resident magician at Mandalay Bay Resort and casino in Las Vegas. His success is believed to be down to his well-known energetic and playful performances that combine stand-up comedy and world renowned sleight of hand.
Guests on board the cruise to Mexico were entertained by the live performances from each of the performers before the result was determined by the entertainment department who based the results on the guest’s votes as well as the response of the audience.
The finalists that joined Seidman were; Vocalist Lovena Fox, Comedian Steve Caouette and Violinist Christopher Watkins. Seidman was announced winner at the celebratory event in Piazza (Princesses signature venue) on the final night.
Adrian Fischer, vice president spoke on behalf of Princess Cruises when he said: “Congratulations to Ben Seidman for being chosen as Princess Cruises Entertainer of the Year, we were so proud to showcase the immense talents of all our finalists to our guests, who were thoroughly riveted by their dynamic performances and certainly had a difficult time choosing among such charismatic entertainers.”
This marks Princesses’ fourth annual entertainer of the year program which was created to recognize the diversity of guest entertainers.
