Modern cruise line Celebrity Cruises has revealed the name of its fifth Edge Series ship, set to launch in November 2025! The new ship’s name is Celebrity Xcel, and will offer all the glamorous bars, delectable eateries, and innovative entertainment venues that her fellow Edge series sister ships, including Celebrity Apex, Celebrity Beyond, Celebrity Edge, and the soon-to-be-launched Celebrity Ascent, have become known for!
Onboard Celebrity Xcel, guests can unwind in The Retreat, an exclusive two-story resort-within-a-resort area designed exclusively for suite guests. They can also escape the hustle and bustle of the mainland at an expanded Rooftop Garden and a stunning Resort Deck featuring a variety of float pools. Additionally, they can sip cocktails while soaring above the sea in the cantilevered entertainment space known as the Magic Carpet®.

Celebrity Xcel’s inaugural season will be spent in the sun-kissed Caribbean, with departures from Fort Lauderdale on various 7-night itineraries. These cruises, now available for booking, are expected to alternate between the sensational Bahamas, electrifying ports in Mexico, gorgeous port calls in the Cayman Islands, marvellous Puerto Plata, and the unforgettable St. Thomas!
