Carnival Just Answered Every Question About Carnival Panorama’s Trampoline Park!

Carnival Just Answered Every Question About Carnival Panorama’s Trampoline Park!

Carnival Cruises has revealed that its new ship, launching in Long Beach on December 11th 2019, will introduce the first indoor trampoline park at sea!

“We wanted to do something different on the third (Vista-class) ship instead of the IMAX Theatre,” Carnival Cruise Line president Christine Duffy stated.

If guests head to Decks 6 and 7, where the IMAX Theatre is found on Carnival Vista and Carnival Horizon, they will find an expansive two-deck-high facility, encompassing more than 3,000 square feet, across a 12-lane trampoline court.

Below Carnival Cruises have answered all passengers’ questions on Sky Zone:

Will there be a cost associated with Sky Zone?

Yes, there will be a nominal fee for guests to use Sky Zone on Carnival Panorama. We are still working out the details on pricing and will provide that information as we get closer to the inaugural sailing date.

You normally don’t charge for water parks, ropes course, SkyRide or other attractions, why are you charging for Sky Zone?

Sky Zone is a first-of-its-kind partnership in the cruise industry.

Given the uniqueness of the experience and the significant shipboard space it occupies, much like Sky Zone on land we will be charging a fee for guests to participate in Sky Zone activities aboard Carnival Panorama.

Jumping on a trampoline on a moving cruise ship seems dangerous. What are you doing to ensure guests’ safety?

Sky Zone is a leader in the indoor trampoline industry and abides by all industry regulations. Sky Zone has a patented slim seam design that maximizes guests’ experience via a larger jumping area and with less risk of injury.

Flipping and horseplay on trampolines is strictly prohibited in Carnival Panorama’s Sky Zone.

Is Sky Zone replacing IMAX Theatre and if so why?

Yes, we are utilizing the IMAX Theatre space on Decks 6 and 7 to accommodate Sky Zone on Carnival Panorama.

We are always looking at new ways to provide our guests with fun and exciting activities and jumped at the opportunity to work with Sky Zone (pun intended).

Will there be age, weight and/or health restrictions for using Sky Zone?

Sky Zone will be an all-ages activity but given the nature of the experience guests with certain health issues will be restricted from participating in Sky Zone.

There is a 300-pound weight limit as well.

What will be the operating hours?

Although it’s still too early to provide a detailed schedule of activities, Sky Zone will be open throughout the day.

We are also planning late-night blacklight parties and other events for older guests.

Will Sky Zone be on any other ships, newbuilds or existing tonnage?

At this point, given the space utilization across two decks, Sky Zone is only planned for Carnival Panorama, however, we will certainly advise if this changes.

Adjacent to the trampoline court will be a challenge zone equipped with a climbing wall, balance/jousting beam, Sky Ladder climbing apparatus and Tug of War.

Sky Zone will be the venue for all-things-activity-related:

-Gravity-defying dodgeball games and above-the-rim basketball experiences

-Nighttime blacklight glow parties

-Toddler time sessions where young cruisers and their families can play with oversized soft blocks

-Various fitness activities for all levels from beginning to advanced

Sky Zone operates more than 200 parks across the United States, Canada, Mexico, Guatemala, Australia, the United Kingdom, Norway, India, Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait and Colombia.

Guests can expect additional details of Carnival Panorama’s Sky Zone to be announced in the near future.
